Planetary Hours Calculator App for Android
According to Babylonian astrology each day of the week is ruled by a planetary governor. And each hour of each day also has its ruler.
When working planetary magic, the most potent time to perform a ritual is during the planetary hour of the planetary day. Every governor has the most influence during his/her assigned hours of their day.
The planetary hours don’t correspond to our chronological hours. Instead, one planetary day is calculated as the time between sunrise today and sunrise tomorrow. One planetary day has its’ daylight hours(from sunrise to sunset) and its’ night hours(from sunset to the next sunrise).
For any given day, to calculate the length of its’ daylight hours, find the difference in seconds between sunset and sunrise. Divide this difference by 12 and you have the length of each hour.
Similarly, to calculate the length of its’ night hours, find the difference between the next days sunrise and today’s sunset and divide this by 12.
To use this Planetary Hours Calculator app, find the ruler of each day and find the hours of the day assigned to the ruler. For example if today is Sunday, then today’s governor is the Sun. The first hour of Sunday will be ruled by the Sun. Look for the hours of today that are ruled by the sun and work your magic then.
Each ruler has certain qualities. For example, if practicing love magic, the best day for this is on a Friday(ruled by Venus) on the hours of the day ruled by Venus.
